Sherice Turner - Principal MD
Hello, I am the founder and Principal of Turners Dance Academy. It has always been a dream of mine to own my own dance studio and I made that dream come true in the year of 2022! With the help from my family and friends Turners Dance Academy was built on hope and dreams. I am a professional trained dancer and attending Creative Academy in London. I have performed on ITV 2, BGT & supported various acts on and off stage including performing in a London production of Aladdin.
I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in Dance and trained in ISTD Ballet, Modern & Tap and hold up to Advanced 1 Certificate in all three subjects.

Shantai Norris Turner - Teacher
Hello, I am a teacher at Turners Dance Academy. Becoming a teacher has been a very exciting experience for me. My passion for Dance ignited when I took my first dance class with Turners Dance Academy and I quickly fell in love with the rhythm and movement. As I progressed I began to assist Sherice (Principal) with the Mini Movers and Beginners Dance Classes and quickly realised how rewarding it was to share my passion with others.
I am the sister of Sherice (Principal) which means I have grown to up with watching her dance and being so fascinated with all that the dance world brings. I quickly then decided I wanted to follow in her footsteps.
Dance became more than just a hobby, it became a form of self-expression for me, allowing me to share my feelings and creativity in ways words couldn’t. This helped me build the skills as a teacher and encouraged my students to embrace the world of dance through my teaching and experience.

Chebourn Turner - Administrator
Hi, I’m Chebourn, the administrator at Turners Dance Academy and Sherice’s (The Principal) big sister and biggest supporter. I absolutely love being part of this dance school. It has been incredibly rewarding to work with everyone involved - staff, parents and especially the children. I take great pride in what we have already achieved together and I am excited for the future as we continue to grow.
I’m passionate about supporting Turners Dance Academy by organising venues, activities and other tasks that keep everything running smoothly. I also support any parents or careers with any needs that may arise.
I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in Early Years and Education and work as a SEN Primary School Teacher. My three little girls are a part of Turners Dance Academy and take part in multiple different dance & gymnastics classes.

Ezmé Clarke - Teacher
Hello! I’m Ezmé, a teacher at Turners Dance Academy and a dancer myself. I took my first dance class in the same week as taking my first steps as a toddler, and my expression and love for dance has only grown since! I began teaching at TDA in 2024 and have loved every moment ever since; it is so special to share accomplishment and passion with others and inspire them to flourish. I enjoy finding the perfect balance of technique and fun in the art, and watching my students grow in confidence and progress in movement is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work. I have performed at some of the most prestigious venues in the UK & compete annually in several styles.I’m currently at Ignite Performing Arts, studying Dance and have trained in AAD Ballet, Modern, Tap & Acrobatics, and hold DISTINCTION certifications. I also am trained in the following styles: commercial, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop & musical theatre. I look forward to going to study BA (Hons) Degree in dance once gaining my extended diploma.

Sophie Baker - Teacher
Hey! My name is Sophie and I have been dancing for 18 years! Starting from when I was 4 years old. It has been my dream since I was 5 years old to be a dance teacher as I has always said What would I do if I couldn’t dance
For the past 8 years, I has trained at the incredible Addict Dance Academy in Leicester, recently graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Dance and Performance. My favourite dance style is Commerical/Hip Hop. When I first tried these styles I immediately fell in love. It allows you to move more freely and that’s what I really enjoy the most about these styles and teaching these styles.
My favourite thing about TDA is how everyone is one big family. It doesn’t matter who you are, everyone is very accepting and very appreciate of talents and are supportive through everything. -
